Backend / Platform Engineer

Build and run the backend services and cloud platform that serve our enterprise customers, keeping them secure, observable and quick to deploy on Azure.

What you will do

• Design and operate the services and data pipelines behind our products.
• Own CI/CD, containerisation and infrastructure as code for our deployments.
• Build the safeguards enterprise customers require, including authentication, tenant isolation and audit logging.
• Improve monitoring and alerting so problems are found before customers report them.

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years building and running production backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Docker and a CI/CD system such as Azure Pipelines.
• Strong grounding in relational data modelling and query performance.
• A security first mindset when handling customer data.
