AI Engineer

Build the domain-specific models and multi-agent systems behind AIngineer, so engineers get accurate, well cited answers from codes, standards and engineering databases.

What you will do

• Design, build and evaluate retrieval augmented generation pipelines over engineering documents and databases.
• Develop and orchestrate AI agents that plan, retrieve and reason across multiple data sources.
• Improve answer accuracy and traceability through better parsing, ranking, prompting and evaluation.
• Work with domain engineers to turn real workflow problems into measurable model improvements.
• Take models from prototype to production, including monitoring and regression testing.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience building applications with large language models.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with vector search, embeddings and agent frameworks.
• Comfortable working with messy, real world documents such as PDFs, drawings and scanned standards.
• A pragmatic habit of shipping and measuring, rather than tuning in isolation.
